Pumpkin Puff
Meet Pumpkin, the seasonal squash who is hear to celebrate all-things ALL-HALLOWS-EVE!
As your (mad) eye might be able to spy, Pumpkin has had a bit of a makeover since 2019. 2020 Pumpkin has been made with a brand new, rusty orange yarn, which is even fluffier than last year! What's more, she has evolved to grow a stem, which ensures she is PAWfectly camouflaged and kitted out for the season's festivities - costumes are SO 2019...
So now that we've talked about the technicalities, let's move onto the WHIMSY, aka the beastie backstory! For this, I felt it was wrong to speak on her behalf - she has a magical voice of her own - so on that note... take it away Pumpkin:
Hello my lovelies, it's Pumpkin here, the squishiest squash in all the land! Unsurprisingly, pumpkins are my favourite food and I have just PAWfected my recipe for Pumpkin Puffs Juice - a vegan-worthy cross between Pumpkin Juice and the (Godric) hallowed Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Between you and me, it may give Messrs Costa & Starbucks a run for their money! Admittedly, it tasted more like troll bogies on the first attempt, but I solemnly swore to hit the jack (o-lantern) pot and ALL WAS WELL.
When I'm not huffing and Pygmy puffing round the kitchen, I love nothing more than a Sunday stroll through the fields and pumpkin patches, or squashing next to my favourite human for a Harry Potter movie marathon. My greatest ambition is to crack the Daily Puffet's Sunday Crossword, as the Prize is a lifetime supply of PUMPKINS. Just think of the pasties, the pastries, the pies, oh my!
Nonetheless, while I adore this most colourful of seasons and its signature ingredient, I have a confession to make... Halloween and I go together like Dobby and matching socks. The truth is, like Fang I'm a bit of a coward and I hold Sir Nugget 93.4% responsible for this. Last week, he decided to tell me this utterly PETRIFYING bedtime story, where one of the 'heroes' turned a PUMPKIN into a carriage. What the fwooper?!
I will definitely be sticking to Beedle's magical tales in future... and would love nothing more than for you to join me! What do you say? Could I bee your chosen puff?

- PUMPKIN is approximately 8x7x7cm.
- Her body was crocheted in rusty orange Scheepjes “Furry Tales" yarn.
- Her head, ears and front paws were were crocheted in white DK King Cole yarn.
- Her stem was crocheted in green Cotton yarn, which is also used to embroider her nose.
- Her eyes have been hand-painted with cruelty-free golden nail polish
- She has been brushed to make her extra fluffy!
- She is stuffed with eco-friendly cotton fibre fill.
- Each Pumpkin Puff comes with a custom book-page badge, as seen in photos.
