This is a DIGITAL listing, not a finished product. You will received a PDF download, which can be used to make a whole Parliament of Owls!
Have you OWLways wanted a snowy owl of your own? After all this time, your heart’s greatest desire can finally come true! Your fantastic beastie bestie is just a few stitches away, with the potential to be as true a friend to you as Hedwig was to Harry. That being said, as passionate believers in SPOW (the Society for the Protection of Owlish Welfare), the Bumble & Be Menagerie ask that any Post Owls made with this pattern are given sick leave and pensions!
This DIGITAL Pattern is suitable for Advanced Beginners. Skills needed include:
• Crocheting in the round, using the “magic ring” method.
• Working fluffy yarn (this is optional, but recommended for best results)
• Working in Split rounds for legs and tail.
• Basic sewing to join the beak (whip stitch).
The PDF includes text and photos, along with a yarn guide. The pattern HAS also been tested by a group of fellow WitchCrafters, so I have every faith that it is "maker-worthy". Nonetheless, you are welcome to contact me with any questions you may have.
This pattern is here for you to create your own cuddly creatures, or perhaps make one as a gift! I would also love to see your finished creations, so please tag me on social media @bumble_and_be and hashtag #TheSPEWCrew.
However, this pattern is for PERSONAL use, so finished Owls are NOT TO BE LISTED FOR COMMERCIAL SALE. The pattern should also not be redistributed or reproduced.
My makes are inspired by the Wizarding World, but are unlicensed and have no affiliation with Warner Bros/JK Rowling.
This is my favorite owl pattern that I have ever used! As an experienced crocheter, I often tend to go for complex and lengthy patterns; but this simple owl was such a delight to make! It took me an afternoon to make a new friend, and if that isn’t something special then I dont know what is. I am now currently resisting the urge to make a whole flock of owls, as they are so precious I do feel I need an entire fleet.
